Dennis K Lindeman passed away on April 29, 2021 peacefully in his sleep at home.
Dennis was born September 21, 1947 in Red Bluff, California the youngest of eleven children. He served 3 years in the Army in Vietnam earning him the Vietnam Service Medal with 3 bronze service stars, the National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Marksman, then served numerous years in the National Guard. Dennis worked for the Park service for 30 years and retired. He later went back to work working for the Alaska DOT for 10 years then retired a 2nd time.
Dennis lived in Alaska for 17 years and loved riding his Harley, going camping and 4-wheeling, fishing and his fur babies. He loved his family and lived his life to the fullest. Dennis left this life for the next, but his laugh, his smile, and his orneriness will never be forgotten.
He is survived by is wife Lora Lindeman (30 years) of Fairbanks, AK, son John Lindeman of North Pole, AK, daughter Shelly (Michael) Lindeman of Stevinson, CA, daughter Denise (Jeff) Walker of Modesto, CA, step-son Brandon (Olivia) Haines of Fairbanks, AK, step-son Tommy (Jammie) Grant of Phoenix, Az, along with 9 grand children and 8 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his step-son Waylon Griffin and his first wife Jaqulyn Lindeman (20 years).
There will be a Celebration of Life held at American Legion Post 11 Saturday May 8, 2021 at 2:00 pm. All whom loved and knew him are welcome.
