Mary Rose Smith 80 of North Pole, AK passed away on December 3rd, 2024, as a result of injuries from a car accident that she was in with her daughter.

She is survived by her two children Rick Gomske of Menominee, MI and Torrie Gomske of North Pole, AK. Tragically her daughter Torrie passed away just three days later on December 6th, 2024, from injuries sustained in the same accident. She is also survived by a stepson Jeff (Sheila) Smith of Iron River, MI.

Mary Rose has six grandchildren. Jessi (Mitch) Howard of Rhinelander, WI, Randy (Jenna) Smith of Phelps, WI, Melissa Suter of Newport, TN, Tony Crane Jr. of Fairbanks, AK, Brady Crane of Buena Vista, CO., and Jaidyn Crane of North Pole, AK. She also has five great-grandchildren – Derrick, Raiden, Keagen, Serenity, and Scarlett Rose.

Mary Rose was preceded in death by her husband Randy Smith and a stepdaughter Melanie Smith Suter.

Mary Rose enjoyed watching her Green Bay Packers and socializing with good friends and family. She was a little lady with a huge personality, always full of laughter and good times! She and Torrie will be missed by many.

It was Mary’s wishes not to have a funeral, she requested a cremation with her ashes spread alongside her husband Randy.
