Raymond Charles Spencer

Raymond Charles Spencer, loving father, son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully July 25th.  2023 at Denali Center in Fairbanks Alaska. Born March 6th 1959 to Delbert and Ramona Spencer in North Hollywood California.

The family moved to Alaska when Ray was just 10 months old and here is where he lived for the remainder of his life.  Ray was known for loving to be outside doing things all the time, including boating, camping, and running dogs.  He loved the outdoors and spent as much time as he could enjoying Alaska.

Ray is survived by his three children Raymond Spencer (Aime) of Fairbanks, AK, David Spencer (Jessica) of Fairbanks, AK, and Ramona Gussman (Justin) of Yuma, AZ.  Siblings Donna Serfling of Fairbanks, AK, Frana LaPore of Florida, and Wayne Spencer of Anchorage, AK.  Three grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Ray was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Ramona Spencer and brother Leslie Spencer.

In lieu of services there will be a celebration of life on Saturday August 19th 2023 starting at 3:00 pm as Ray would have wanted it.  The celebration will be at 796 Old Steese Hwy in Fairbanks Alaska.
