Temitayo Kalejaiye went home to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 30, 2024 due to an unfortunate fatal car accident. Temitayo was born in Lagos, Nigeria on December 10, 1981, he came to the United States in April 2021 and became a citizen in August 2024. He met his wife June 1, 2017, they married Dec 19, 2018. Temitayo joined Alaska laborers local 942 in 2022. He worked construction on the North Slope then at Public Works in Fairbanks.
Temitayo was an extraordinary man. He loved his wife and family. His sense of humor and his laugh brought sunshine and happiness to others. You are missed so much. You live in our hearts.
Temitayo was preceded in death by his mother Celia Kalejaiye and brother Benson Kalejaiye.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon Kalejaiye; step daughter, Amanda Wease; step son-in-law, Jake Wease; step grandsons, Greysen and Gabriel Wease; aunt, Taiwo Adebanwo; father, Francis Kalejaiye; and many family members in Nigeria, Maryland, and Texas.
Private family viewing will be Wednesday October 9th at 4:00pm. Burial will be Thursday October 10th at 10:00am at Birch Hill Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held and announced at a later time.
