Urban Rahoi Obituary

Urban Eugene Rahoi, 102, passed away May 20, 2021 at the Pioneer Home in Fairbanks.

Urban was born on January 7th, 1919 in Iron Mountain, Michigan, he married his wife in 1940. He was in the Army Air Corps and was a World War II B17 Bomber Pilot.

After the Army he went on to do many things in Alaska. He was an Entrepreneur, the owner of Ptarmigan Lake Lodge, was an Engineer, a Bush Pilot and a Master Hunting Guide.

Urban is survived by his sisters Phyllis and Evelyn, son Gene, daughter Holly, grandkids Brandon, Megan, Josh, Brittany, Jon and Rainee, along with 15 great grand kids and 1 great great grandkid.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
